Violence against women in the lyrics of the most popular songs among teenagers is a concern for our society, since adolescents, directly and indirectly, receive a series of roles based on prejudice and bias. The main objective of this study is, on the one hand, to analyse song lyrics that are popular among teenagers and to determine if the music they listen to is sexist and, on the other hand, to produce an Intervention Proposal based on previous works to prevent sexist behaviour in the classroom and provide a series of activities that re-educate students in equity and inclusion. In order to do this, a documentary methodology was used, analysing texts that study the influence of lyrics on teenagers, a sociolinguistic analysis, where five songs by popular singers among adolescents were evaluated, as well as an Intervention Proposal. Through this work, it is demonstrated that a strong connection exists between students and music and the importance of being critical about the information that students receive in all areas, especially in music.
