Introduction: Psychological well-being (PWB) is a contemporary concept postulated by Carol Ryff that proposes that life satisfaction is achieved through a high development of 6 different dimensions: autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations with others, purpose in life, and self-acceptance. Parenting implies a significant change in roles, routines and occupations with impact on all dimensions of the person’s PWB. The aim of this work is to describe the psychological well-being of parents of children between the ages of 0 and 6 attending Early Intervention Centers (EIC) in the provinces of Alicante and Valencia. Material and method: Cross-sectional descriptive study framed within the EQo-Mental Project. Sociodemographic, health and lifestyle data of the participants were collected through ad hoc questionnaires and the PWB with Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale. R Commander software was used to describe variables and perform bivariate statistical analyses. Results: A total of 303 parents (205 mothers and 98 fathers) participated, obtaining high scores on the PWS scale [(median RI: mothers 115 (106-124); fathers 116 (108,2-122)]. Additionally, PWS scores were very high (118) in mothers with countries of origin other than Spain and who receive support for household tasks, as well as in single, non-working fathers with three or more children. Conclusion: Parents of children in EIC in the provinces of Alicante and Valencia have high levels of psychological well-being.
