In this Final Master's Project, a literature review with a proposal regarding the gender perspective in
the training cycles of the professional family of Socio-cultural Services and Community can be
observed. The general objectives are to explore through the literature review to what extent the
gender perspective is included in the training cycles of this professional family, and to make a
proposal. The method used is to provide a theoretical foundation of the most important concepts to
understand the present work, followed by the methodological foundation, which would be a literature
review. To do this, the contents of the different modules related to the gender perspective have
been analyzed, taking into account the possible gender biases and stereotypes that exist, and
proposals for activities have been made for each of them. The results obtained lead us to the
challenges for teachers regarding the inclusion of the gender perspective. In conclusion, despite the
existence of training cycles and modules directly and indirectly related to gender equality, there is
still room for improvement in many aspects.
