Anxiety is considered a natural and adaptive emotion that allows the body to prepare for any
dangerous situation, although on some occasions, this anxiety can occur excessively and
affect the quality of life. It is during adolescence that anxiety levels increase, since it is a
stage full of great changes. Resilient skills help you face and overcome life's adversities,
allowing you to adapt effectively to difficult situations and emerge stronger from them.
Therefore, in the following intervention proposal, a specific program is proposed for
adolescents between 12 and 18 years old, whose main objective is to strengthen resilient
skills, thus reducing anxiety symptoms. The program is made up of 13 sessions, 8 of which
are taught with adolescents and 5 with parents, since to improve the evolution of anxiety in
adolescents, it is essential to work together with families, providing them with the necessary
tools and resources.
