My interest in this work is to ask myself how the performer, from his dissonance with the technologies of power, contributes towards the construction of a masculine political subject, in a society where heteronormative patterns are deeply rooted and does not allow the liberation of the body and the mind. desire of the denomination men? From the sector of feminist thinkers and activists, a debate has been generated between the validity or not of the increasingly flourishing presence of men sympathetic to their struggles; Although the percentages are still insignificant, the founding paradox is that cismen cannot be judges and part of an anti-patriarchal, anti-sexist struggle, therefore excluding the good intentions that this action can generate, the demand is that cismen deconstruct their masculinity hegemonic and put it into debate, it is in this sense that through the artistic work and the thought of the Mexican performer Lukas Avendaño, I intend to spin a story that allows me to find a drift that brings me closer to the masculine subject / if any; For this I propose to articulate this research from the feminist theoretical construct, from queer theories, as well as from the theoretical proposals of non-hegemonic masculinities.
