The present work was born with the purpose of elaborating an innovation proposal in the creative and cultural industries sector, specifically in the television subsector. In the first place, we have dealt with the origin and evolution of the concept of creative and cultural industries and a series of definitions, the set of activities that are included within said industries according to the different classifications, as well as their influence on the Spanish economy. Secondly, we have analyzed the importance of the audiovisual sector in Spain, and with it, the most relevant aspects of the "Spain, Audiovisual Hub of Europe" Plan recently approved by the government. To then do the same, but at the regional level, that is, analyze the importance of this sector in the Valencian Community because it is the place where this work is carried out and presented. In third place, to make a description of the area of knowledge where said work is inserted: the strategic direction of the company; as well as the different tools that could be used to elaborate this work. After that, we have proceeded to explain the method and procedure with which this work is going to be carried out, through the use of SWOT analysis by Mediaset España and Atresmedia, in order to then obtain a series of results that allow, first of all, to a comparison between the characteristics of the competitive strategies of both companies, later the creation of a RICE matrix for the television industry, and finally the elaboration of a strategic framework of the blue ocean proposal in the television industry.
