Resumen :
La violencia de género vive cada día con muchísimas mujeres del mundo entero. Hay tanta

Gender violence persists every day for countless women around the world. There is such
diversity in ages that the starting point to put an end to abuse should be in schools and
institutes, but are we truly doing it in an appropriate way? Are we letting ourselves be
swayed by romanticism? Education on gender violence needs to evolve, where men and
women are actively involved, and this improvement is reflected both at home and in
schools. This change should be driven by the belief that everyone deserves to live in peace. Fortunately, the fitch for equality and for women’s rights is growing bigger and stronger.
Women are no longer weak because we never have been.
The message of this struggle is clear: no one is alone. The question is, when do you know if
you are experiencing abuse? Thanks to therapy a significant number of victims have been
able to move forward. That’s why it’s necessary to normalize seeking help forma a
psychologist. We must stop seeing it as a taboo subject because mental health is just as
important as physical health. The truth is, a physical bruise may fade with time, but the
psychological trauma caused by abuse forma a partner doesn’t disappear over time.
On the other hand, there is a lot of misinformation about the protection offered to victims.
What happens when a woman reports her abuse? How can we ensure that the restraining
order is enforced? The work of the police in the family and women’s support units is crucial,
yet it is greatly undervalued by citizens.
However, the answers are not found in a book; they are within ourselves. As a society, we
have a mission to be free and live in peace because the change we need is a fight for
equality, a fight to ensure that no woman lives in fear because of her partner or simply
walking alone at night. We must do it for all of us.
