Consumo de envases plásticos de origen alimentario en hogares. Relación con el grado de concienciación medioambiental.

Abstract

Este trabajo se ha centrado en la determinación de envases plásticos de origen alimentario, y su relación con el grado de concienciación medioambiental. Hay un incremento a nivel mundial de la contaminación plástica, afectando principalmente a los océanos en el entorno medioambiental, así como a la salud humana. La investigación bibliográfica realizada en el inicio del estudio, ha servido para conocer, del mismo modo, los datos de producción plástica a nivel mundial y europeo y no únicamente su desperdicio. Todo ello relacionado con los hábitos de compra de alimentos envasado de los consumidores y el tipo de formato en el que los adquieren. Conociendo los hábitos de reciclaje de una muestra de población y el nivel de concienciación medioambiental, se ha podido analizar la relación entre el consumo de alimentos envasados y reciclaje de los mismos.

This work has focused on the determination of plastic packaging on food origin, relating the data with the degree of environmental awareness. There is a worldwide increase in plastic pollution, mainly affecting the oceans, in the environmental environment, as well as human health. The bibliographical research carried out at the beginning of the study, has served to know, in the same way, the data of plastic production worldwide and Eu-ropean and not only its waste. All this is related to the purchasing habits of food pack-aged by consumers and the type of format in which they are purchased. Knowing the recycling habits of a sample of population and the level of environmental awareness, it has been possible to see the relationship between the consumption of packaged foods and recycling of the same. However, it has not been possible to find a relationship be-tween the level of environmental awareness and the degree of action in recycling
