Las Diputaciones provinciales. Una aproximación a los orígenes de la Diputación de Cádiz

Abstract

Los orígenes de la Diputación de Cádiz, tienen una relación directa con la obra legislativa y el propio texto de la Constitución Española de 1812. Cádiz era un espacio geográfico excepcional, dadas las circunstancias y contexto de la ciudad, para analizar la implementación de la legislación relativa a la Administración Local, y en concreto la provincial. La Diputación de Cádiz se crea no sin dilaciones y justificaciones detalladas por parte de la Junta Provincial a la Comisión Constitucional de las Cortes, aún siendo la ciudad baluarte inexpugnable de la libertad española frente a la ocupación francesa del territorio nacional, que posibilitó la celebración en la misma de las Cortes que elaboraron la primera Constitución Española.

The origins of the Provincial Council of Cádiz, have a direct relationship with the legislative and the Spanish Constitution of 1812. Cádiz was an exceptional geographic space, given the circumstances and context of the city, to discuss the implementation of legislation relating to Local Government, specifically the province. Cádiz Provincial Council without delay and make no detailed justification by the Provincial Board of the Constitutional Commission of the Courts, even thought the city impregnable bastion of the Spanish Liberty against the French occupation on the country, which allowed the conclusion on the same of the Courts that developed the first Spanish Constitution.
