Resumen :
This is a reflection on a new university experience in the online teaching of the discipline of Business Law. This is an internationalisation project that I am undertaking as a lecturer at the Miguel Hernández University within the scope of the so-called "Internationalisation teaching projects at home PRODICUMH 2023/2024, trying to enable the union or rapprochement with other international universities and which I undertake in an online mode. The fundamental activity that integrates this project involves the organisation of joint teaching and research activities with two foreign universities in order to promote the interaction of my students of Commercial Law with international professors in order to deepen the knowledge of the legal regulation of the main institutions of Colombian commercial law. The scientific study that is undertaken will be enriching, promoting the competence of comparative law knowledge. Specifically, the work is developed under the title: "International Teaching Project in Commercial Law with the University of Medellin, Colombia and with the University Institution of Envigado, Colombia" and aims to involve the Commercial Law teaching staff of these two Colombian universities with the aim of trying to enrich the students of the Miguel Hernández University in the research of paradigmatic commercial concepts and institutions of Colombian Law. A lecturer from the University Institution of Envigado, responsible for the subjects Commercial Law and Company Law in the Department of Commercial Law, a Colombian lecturer from the University of Medellin, responsible for the subjects Commercial Law and Company Law in the Department of Private Law in the Faculty of Law, and myself, as head of the subject "Introduction to Commercial Law", which is taught in the second year of the Law degree and in which a total of 107 students have enrolled in the current academic year 2023/2024. This subject, taught in the afternoon and corresponding to the second four-month period of the academic year, was chosen because of the time difference between Colombia and Spain, in order to facilitate the internationalisation programme between the two countries. The project is structured in three seminars in which the different essential contents that are the object of legal research are structured and are preceded by successive online meetings via Meet between the teaching staff of the three universities involved in a project that aims to internationalise the knowledge of Business Law of our Law degree students by showing them the Colombian legal-business reality. These seminars are held via streaming, are participatory in nature, are subject to study and encourage student research, and are assessed in the final exams of the subject. This new teaching experience is made possible through virtual exchange with the two Colombian universities with which our Miguel Hernández University of Elche has close ties and previous legal collaborations in other legal disciplines to enable international stays for faculty and students.
