Workplace harassment is a problem with negative effects on both employees' health and organizational performance, affecting up to 35% of workers in certain environments (Hauge et al., 2007). This study presents an intervention proposal based on transformational leadership to prevent such dynamics and improve the workplace climate.
The program "Transformational Leadership: Keys to Prevent Workplace Harassment" is designed for supervisors and middle managers in medium and large companies, developing key skills such as assertive communication, early detection of harassment signs, and conflict resolution. It consists of eight weekly sessions of two hours each, combining theory, practical activities, and reflection.
To assess its impact, a pre- and post-intervention evaluation will be conducted using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and organizational climate surveys, along with qualitative observation. This proposal aims to provide concrete tools to foster a work environment based on respect, trust, and the prevention of workplace harassment.
