Femme, un podcast sobre literatura femenina

Abstract

Femme es un podcast de y sobre mujeres en la literatura. Constará de cuatro episodios cortos, de unos 10 minutos aproximadamente cada uno y en el que se abordarán temas relacionados con la literatura, pero enfocándonos en el papel de la mujer en esta: cómo ha sido históricamente, las barreras que han tenido que derribar, su evolución y papel en la actualidad. En alguno de esos episodios comentaremos cómo las mujeres antiguamente tenían que usar un pseudónimo, publicar en anónimo, bajo un nombre masculino o directamente no publicar nada por las represalias que podían surgir tras ello. Y esto lo compararemos con un caso actual, “Carmen Mola”, un pseudónimo femenino bajo el que escriben tres hombres y que se lucran de vender su imagen como si fuese una mujer. Con esta idea iremos explicando las dificultades que afrontaron y las obras que a día de hoy se han perdido a causa de la misoginia de la época que ha impedido que estas obras se conserven o que, peor aún, nunca hayan visto la luz.

Femme is a podcast about women in literature. It will consist of four short episodes, each approximately 10 minutes long, focusing on topics related to literature but with an emphasis on the role of women in it: how it has been historically, the barriers they have had to overcome, their evolution, and their role today. In some of these episodes, we will discuss how women in the past had to use pseudonyms, publish anonymously, under a male name, or not publish at all due to the repercussions they might face. We will compare this with a current case, "Carmen Mola," a female pseudonym under which three men write and take profit by selling their image as if they were a woman. With this idea, we will explain the difficulties they faced and the literary works that have been lost to this day due to the misogyny of that time, which prevented these works from being preserved or, worse yet, never saw the light of day.
