Bullying is a problem that affects thousands of adolescents worldwide. Although there are numerous studies in secondary education that analyze bullying in adolescents and its possible solutions, professional training lacks research in this area. This absence of information makes it difficult to understand the problem at this educational stage and to develop effective preventive strategies. Emotional intelligence (EI) is proposed as a tool to combat it. This master's dissertation aims to analyze emotional intelligence as a preventive strategy against bullying in adolescents, with special emphasis on the context of vocational training. For this purpose, an exhaustive literature review was carried out to identify EI in victims, aggressors and observers of bullying, as well as the existing scientific evidence on the relationship between emotional intelligence and bullying, both in the general context and in the specific context of Vocational Training. Based on the results of the literature review, an intervention proposal was designed based on the development of emotional intelligence to prevent bullying in this specific educational environment. Emotional intelligence emerges as a powerful tool to combat bullying. Investing in the development of EI in teachers and students is crucial to build a better educational future for all
