Deporte femenino en el campus de Elche de la Universidad Miguel Hernández

Abstract

La Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche cuenta con pocos universitarios que practican deporte, y mayoritariamente son hombres quien sí lo practican. Además, se da una gran diferenciación en el tipo de actividad física que practican ambos sexos. Los hombres apuestan por actividades más competitivas, mientras que las mujeres por clases dirigidas y más dinámicas. Sin embargo, la universidad oferta todas las actividades por igual a todos sus alumnos. Y uno de los grandes problemas a los que se enfrenta la oficina de deportes de la UMH es llegar a los universitarios porque hay mucha gente que desconoce toda la oferta deportiva.

The Miguel Hernández University in Elche has few university students who practice sports there. And most of them are men who do. Well, the students are less present. In addition, there is a great difference in the type of physical activity practiced by both sexes. Men bet on more competitive activities while women bet on more dynamic and directed classes. However, the university offers all activities equally to all its students. And one of the biggest problems facing the UMH sports office is reaching university students. Well, there are many people who don't know the whole range of sports on offer.
