Through an objective and communicative analysis, the main objective of this paper is to make public the tools, messages and strategies used by communication and marketing departments of the two main Spanish political parties, PP and PSOE, for the national elections on 28 April 2019. With regard to the strategies used by these parties, the key objective is to keep their faithful voters and specially to convince undecided voters, those who do not know which political party would better meet their demands.
In addition, the last few years we have met another type of voter, the one who changes his political choices and who votes different parties in different elections.
This paper will be always contextualized through articles, documents and surveys of official bodies of the State of Spain. Furthermore, we will check the recent history of PSOE and PP, we will also do a comparison of the results of both parties in the national elections of 2015 and 2016, a communicational in-depth analysis of their leaders, an investigation of the tools used in the pre-campaign and campaign, and we will show 2019 elections results.
Finally, we will explain the conclusions in order to understand the analyzed results during the political and communicative research
