Every year lots of minors suffer bullying, a persecution that does not stay inside the classrooms and does not last a few hours. With the arrival of ICT, aggressors have found other ways to continue their harassment, outside the school centers, until they have become the shadow of their victims. Information is a very powerful weapon. Media is in charge of transmitting the most immediate truthful news and informing about the different topics of interest. In recent years, media has published millions of articles related to bullying, although this is nothing new. However, depending on the media; radio, press, television or the digital one; we can use different tools. Furthermore, there are many ways to treat the data that is obtained. Sometimes, media find out the most remarkable cyberbullying cases. But, in order to be able to tell these stories, we must take into account the ethics and deontology of the profession, since it is about minors who have been or are being intimidated by others and it is easy being sensationalist. In this project the way in which the bullying-referred information is treated in the spanish diary Información is investigated. Moreover, it also explains which rules should be followed from journalism when publishing data that could affect minors. Throughout the text, the words intimidation, victimization or bullying will be used interchangeably. The term cyberbullying refers to harassment among school children through the Internet, mobile phones or applications; this word has no synonyms in Spanish, therefore, it will be used whenever reference is made to what has been previously described
