Retrorepor: Rebobinar al pasado

Abstract

En una época en la que casi todos tenemos acceso a internet y estamos rodeados de smartphones o tabletas, pinceladas de otras décadas se cuelan en el fenómeno “multipantalla”. Triunfan series que mitifican los años 80, las fotografías analógicas irrumpen en los perfiles de Instagram y muchos vídeos se graban en técnicas que creíamos desaparecidas. Ante estas manifestaciones surgen preguntas como ¿Qué es lo que se desea expresar en 2017 con esta estética? Retrorepor es el nombre que hemos dado a un reportaje y cinco entrevistas que recogen los discursos de artistas y creativos españoles de una generación nacida a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90 que, de una forma u otra, muestran estas manifestaciones en sus producciones. Autores que además han alcanzado el éxito dentro del sector. Bajo el título Rebobinar al pasado, las obras de estos artistas nos llevan a otros tiempos que percibíamos olvidados pero bajo un prisma diferente y siempre actual.

At a time when almost everyone has access to the Internet and we are surrounded by smartphones or tablets, traits from other decades are caught in the phenomenon "multiscreen”. Series that deify the 80’s are prospering, analogical photographs are to be seen on Instagram and forgotten analog recording techniques are back. Therefore these facts we question ourselves with matters like: What do we want to tell in the 2017 with this aesthetic? Retrorepor is the merge of a report and five interviews that includes the discourses of Spanish artists and creative born in the late 80's and early 90's. In one way or another they show these artistic manifestations in their productions, also they have achieved success within their own area of expertise. Under the title Rewind to the past, the videos of these artists lead to former days, but always under a different and current scope.
