Introduction: In recent years, there has been an increase in aggressions on health personnel, especially in Primary Care. This phenomenon negatively impacts the mental and physical health of the professionals, as well as their work performance. Therefore, it is important to implement preventive measures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients. Objectives: Analyse aggressions on health personnel in Primary Healthcare and the different preventive measures to address them. Secondarily, describe the characteristics of these assaults and determine the existing preventive measures at the national level and in the Community of Valencia, as well as identify possible improvement actions. Material and methods: A bibliographic review was conducted across various databases on aggressions against health personnel in Primary Healthcare and the different preventive measures to address them. After applying standardized filters, 9 articles meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected, along with 3 technical documents from the Ministry of Health and the Valencian Regional Government. Results: Analysis of the studies and technical documents reveals similarities in the patterns of aggression at both national and regional levels, highlighting their frequency and severity, particularly in verbal form and against women, with physicians being the most affected. The preventive measures examined emphasize the importance of staff education and solid legal support to protect professionals and promote a safe work environment. The notification system is the main aspect that needs improvement. Conclusions: In recent years, there has been a growing trend of verbal assaults towards health personnel, particularly towards women and physicians in Primary Healthcare. It is necessary to adopt preventive measures to address this issue, focusing on the underreporting of such assaults as a critical area for improvement.
