The coordination of business activities (CAE) includes a number of bureaucratic procedures that large companies have to face on a daily basis. The legal need for organizations to coordinate in matters of safety and health at work is established in Art. 24 of the Law on Prevention of Occupational Risks, which indicates that “when workers from companies carry out activities in the same workplace, or more companies, these must cooperate in the application of the regulations for the prevention of occupational risks" and that "the employer who owns the workplace will adopt the necessary measures so that other employers who carry out activities in their workplace receive the information and appropriate instructions”. The larger the company and the greater the volume of subcontractors, the greater the complexity of keeping up to date all the documentation related to the CAE. It is for this reason that this TFM has the main objective of collecting and tabulating all the necessary documents that are carried out in the CAE so that it can serve as a resource for any prevention technician. In addition, the creation of a database for consulting current documentation with the different companies with which there is an employment relationship is analyzed. Additionally, in recent years, different cloud-based third-party tools have been developed that allow CAE interaction between company and subcontractor in a completely digital way. Some of these options on the current market will be analyzed, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, an analysis of the legal consequences of not carrying out the management of the CAE is carried out.
