This study is presented as evidence of the continued success achieved by an innovative teaching pro-
ject in the field of Commercial Law, conducted over the past two academic years within the Department
of Commercial Law at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), Spain, and now entering its
third iteration in the 2024-2025 academic year. This project was initiated based on the premise that
Commercial Law students require knowledge of Comparative Law to expand their professional compe-
tencies. To that end, this work proposes leveraging virtual classroom technology and essential digital
tools to facilitate online connections with other Latin American universities, thereby surpassing the tra-
ditional model of knowledge acquisition delivered solely by in-person faculty. In this way, students gain
a broader perspective on national commercial law while achieving the competencies established within
the Law degree curriculum. With this clear objective in mind, the study offers a reflective analysis of a
new, distinctly practical and international university teaching experience, based on digital technology
and aimed at fostering Comparative Commercial Law learning through the implementation of new on-
line methodologies, thereby enhancing student motivation. The project thus develops an international
pedagogical innovation initiative that significantly broadens the teaching of Commercial Law. Its content
reflects the establishment of collaboration agreements with various foreign universities, specifically
from Argentina and Colombia, conducted online and incorporating new objectives and content into the
syllabus for the Commercial Law course. This approach fosters student engagement in Comparative
Law learning through technology. Additionally, it achieves further objectives, including enhancing the
University’s visibility and international projection, promoting academic mobility, and strengthening pro-
fessional relationships among faculty and researchers from prestigious foreign universities.
