In this final degree project, a documentary filmed in Rwanda, a small country located in Southern Africa, is presented. It was created during a volunteer program organized by the university. The goal is to showcase the progress in two fundamental areas for the country's development: health and education. In the first part, the documentary focuses on Rwanda's healthcare system. The filming took place at Nemba Hospital, where UMH volunteers carry out their activities. This section emphasizes how the hospital operates, particularly in the use of drones to transport blood transfusions. Through footage captured at the hospital, context is provided for the location, and interviews with healthcare staff, accompanied by voiceover narration, create the narrative thread of the story. The second part of the documentary centers on education, focusing on a local school, Apeki Tumba School. Through various students who guide us through the facilities, a sort of tour of the entire school is created. Personal interviews with the students offer their perspectives on their ambitions and the context of the country. Given that Rwanda was the victim of a massive genocide 30 years ago, the students share their opinions on the country's progress since then. This documentary not only combines the use of images but also involves the entire production process, including recording, editing, and post-production. In conclusion, the documentary provides an overview of healthcare and education from an evolutionary perspective on the country's situation over the past 30 years. Through this project, the aim is not only to inform but also to inspire other university students to participate in the volunteer program and gain a closer understanding of how the country operates.es_ES
