Introduction: Chronic pain is a condition with a considerable and increasing prevalence that has an impact on the quality of life of the people who suffer from it and entails large direct and indirect costs. It is a condition that interferes both physically and mentally in the daily life of these people, so it requires a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach based on the biopsychosocial model of pain. In this sense, occupational therapy has a particular approach when dealing with these users, implementing interventions that aim to achieve the greatest possible welfare of them, and consequently, promoting evidence-based occupational therapy. Objectives: The general objective is to carry out an updated bibliographic review on occupational therapy interventions in users with chronic pain, establishing specific objectives related to the detection of the most common interventions and their results, as well as the synthesis of the most relevant information on the subject. Material and Methods: Search of existing literature through various databases using the search descriptors (DeCS/MeSH) "terapia ocupacional/occupational therapy" and "dolor crónico/chronic pain". Results: Based on the established selection criteria, a total of 75 publications were initially obtained. Finally, 16 were included in the review, 13 from PubMed, 2 from Scielo and 1 from Dialnet. Conclusion: The established objectives are achieved by determining that the main interventions from occupational therapy in this group that generate good results are mainly based on education, counseling and training, and that they can be divided into 3 categories: person-centered, environment-centered and occupation-centered.
