Introduction: Chat GPT is a new technology that generates texts based on user questions; It has the ability to create highly accurate content by reproducing information extracted from a database, based on the premises that are posed to it. It is a language model based on the architecture of "transformers". Objectives: To comprehensively analyze the impact of the use of Chat GPT in the educational setting, focusing on its effectiveness, pedagogical implications, and the improvement of the learning experience, as well as to evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness, assess Chat GPT-student interaction, and identify limitations and future challenges. Methodology: A systematic bibliographic review of the electronic scientific literature obtained from PubMED, Scopus, Web Of Science, and Google Scholar databases was carried out. Original articles published from 2022 to 2024, in English and Spanish and related with education were included. Articles not connected between education and Chat GPT and that were not clinical trials were excluded. Results: 15 articles have been examined in order to explore what impact Chat GPT has in the educational setting, and if it is conclusive with possitive results. Conclusions: According to the available evidence consulted, on Chat GPT in the educational environment, it can be concluded that its use is really positive and brings a multitude of benefits. On the other hand, it is necessary that time elapses for more literature to be available for a review of higher research quality, since the current trials lack representative samples
