Neuropsychology, a discipline that investigates the relationship between brain functioning and behavior, has a significant impact on employee performance within the organizational structure. By understanding how the brain influences behavior, this knowledge can be effectively applied in the workplace. Within the organizational structure, there are variables that affect the relationship between employees and the organization. The psychological contract and mobbing are noteworthy aspects in this regard. A poor organizational structure and dysfunctional teamwork also have detrimental effects on performance. In the workplace context, neuropsychological impairments can arise, affecting employee performance. Cognitive flexibility, decision-making, attention, and working memory are key skills that require improvement strategies to counteract apathy and foster motivation and impulse control. Organizational variables have an impact on employees' neuropsychological impairments. It is important to address these issues through appropriate intervention skills and strategies. In particular, a study on psychosocial risks in the banking sector highlights the impact of traumatic, cardiovascular, psychiatric, and neuropsychological pathologies on employees. In conclusion, neuropsychology plays a valuable role in the organizational structure by understanding and addressing neuropsychological impairments that can affect employees. By implementing appropriate strategies, performance and well-being in the workplace can be improved, thus promoting a more productive and healthy work environment.
