The importance of energy in the world is well known. To date, it has been based mainly on the consumption of fossil fuels, causing the depletion of natural resources, and activating climate change because of the CO2 emitted.
In recent years, there has been a growing concern among all European bodies about this climate and resource crisis. To this we must add the situation of conflict that is taking place in Ukraine, which has evidenced the dependence that European countries have on fossil fuel exporting countries. The consequence of all this is a very strong commitment by the European Union to renewable energy.
In the field of renewable energy, it is essential to develop the hydrogen value chain as an energy vector. The development of hydrogen infrastructure is vital to decarbonize ourselves and to gradually leave behind our dependence on fossil fuel exporting countries.
