In the current context of audiovisual consumption, characterized by the predominance of platforms such as HBO, Netflix and Prime Video, among others, this work focuses on analyzing the influence of these platforms on the evolution of credit titles in audiovisual productions. The proposed hypothesis maintains that these platforms have played a determining role in the transformation of credit titles. To address this issue, different specific objectives were established, including the comparative analysis of the evolution of credit titles in productions on new platforms and the investigation of the evolution of aesthetic elements such as graphic design or music, among others. In order to carry out the investigation, a sample of 25 openings made from the 1990s to the present was compiled and a database was created for its analysis. In addition, a survey was carried out aimed at fans of the series to obtain their opinions on the credit titles. The title credits of Emmy Award-winning and nominated series Outstanding Main Title Design were also analyzed. The research findings have revealed an evolution in the editing style of the credits, as well as a significant influence of music on their perception. A change in the narrative structure of credit titles has been identified, highlighting the relationship between its duration and the perception of quality by viewers. These results point to an ongoing transformation in the function and form of credit titles, indicating a clear influence of the new platforms on their evolution.
