Elio y Elena: Propuesta de guion literario e identidad gráfica para un cortometraje de animación

Abstract

En este trabajo de Fin de Grado se expondrá el proceso que se ha seguido para la elabo-ración de un guion literario y la creación de una identidad gráfica destinados a un corto-metraje de animación. Para ello, se ha realizado un análisis de referentes tanto a nivel temático y narrativo como a nivel estético y visual. Dichos referentes abarcan productoras desde The Walt Disney Company hasta artistas independientes como podrían ser Ben Marriott o Sam Rapp. Posteriormente, y según unas deducciones de lo estudiado, se han establecido unas pautas lógicas que permitan alcanzar los objetivos que se esperan de esta memoria. Por una parte, se definió una tagline, un logline, una sinopsis, una escaleta y una descripción de perso-najes para desarrollar un guion literario lo más coherente posible. Y, por otra parte, se hicieron todo tipo de bocetos de personajes y de títulos iniciales, hasta obtener unos dise-ños finales que permitiesen establecer una identidad gráfica concreta. Tras conseguir los resultados deseados, se ha llegado a unas conclusiones acerca de cómo se podría continuar con este proyecto para poder llevarlo a cabo.

In this Final Degree Project, the process followed for the elaboration of a literary script and the creation of a graphic identity for an animated short film will be presented. For this purpose, an analysis of references at the thematic and narrative level, as well as at the aesthetic and visual level has been carried out. These references include production com-panies from The Walt Disney Company to independent artists such as Ben Marriott or Sam Rapp. Subsequently, and based on some deductions from what has been studied, some logical guidelines have been established to achieve the objectives expected from this report. On the one hand, we defined a tagline, a logline, a synopsis, a storyline and a description of characters in order to develop a literary script as coherent as possible. And, on the other hand, all kinds of character sketches and initial titles were made, until final designs were obtained that allowed us to establish a concrete graphic identity. After achieving the desired results, conclusions were reached about how to continue with this project in order to carry it out.
