La lucha contra la diferencia salarial entre mujeres y hombres futbolistas

Abstract

Con este trabajo, lo que se ha pretendido es analizar cuál es la situación de la brecha salarial entre las mujeres y hombres futbolistas en nuestro país. En cuanto a los temas que se han tratado, diferenciamos el trabajo en dos bloques. En primer lugar, se realiza una aproximación a los instrumentos legales vigentes que regulan la brecha salarial desde el ámbito internacional, europeo y, finalmente, estatal. Además, se aborda la regulación del fútbol femenino en España. En la segunda parte, nos adentramos en la situación real de las jugadoras españolas, profundizando en su crecimiento y los logros conseguidos en las últimas décadas. También comparamos la situación que viven los futbolistas masculinos en España con la de las futbolistas femeninas en otros países que son un ejemplo de a dónde se pretende llegar.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the gender pay gap situation among male and female football players in our country. Regarding the topics covered, the work is divided into two main sections. Firstly, an overview is provided of the current legal instruments that regulate the gender pay gap on an international, european, and national level. Additionally, the study evaluates the regulation of women's football in Spain. Moving forward from that original point, we delve into the actual situation of Spanish female players, examining their growth and achievements over the past decades. Furthermore, a comparison is made between the situation of male footballers in Spain and that of female footballers in other countries that serve as examples of the desired outcome.
