Abstract

A pesar de que la modernización y, en particular, la digitalización de las corporaciones ha constituido uno de los objetivos más relevantes de los últimos tiempos, no podemos negar que, ante los retos actuales, la digitalización generalizada del Derecho y, en particular, del Derecho de sociedades, pre-cisa de un impulso decisivo al ser un instrumento esencial para lograr mejoras en la productividad y competitividad. No obstante, la digitalización de las sociedades ha de perseguir en todo momento otro gran objetivo: la sostenibilidad empresarial. Y es que las empresas han de avanzar en el camino de la digitalización manteniendo, en todo momento, un equilibrio con el compromiso de lograr un desarrollo sostenible

Despite the fact that the modernisation and, in particular, the digitalisation of corporations has been one of the most important golas in recent times, we cannot deny that, in the face of current cha-llenges, the generalised digitalisation of Law and, in particular, of Company law requires a decisive boost as it is an essential instrument to achieve improvements in productivity and competitiveness. However, the digitalisation of corporations must pursue another great objective at all times: business sustainability. As a matter of fact companies have to advance on the path of digitalisation maintai-ning, at all times, a balance with the commitment to achieve sustainable development
