Introduction: Sleep disturbances present a great impact for people with Dravet syndrome, altering their coping mechanisms and quality of life, as well as their caregivers. Between 75 and 97% of caregivers had reported concern about this. Objective: To collect and know the relationship between sleep disturbances and Dravet Syndrome both in the patients themselves and their caregivers. Methodology: Systematic review following the PRISMA Method including a search in PubMED, PyscINFO, Scopus and Web of Science databases, including studies in English and Spanish without time criteria. Results: A total of 407 results were obtained, selecting 7 final articles. Some of the most common disturbances that were reported were nocturnal wakefulness and drowsiness. Conclusion: Sleep disturbances are present in a high percentage of patients with Dravet syndrome and their families, showing different problems. There is little research on this subject and some disagreement was found in the results reviewed. There is a clear need for cognitive-behavioural intervention to work on sleep disturbances in both populations, as well as to support and intervene in the high emotional impact they have on them. In this way, it is concluded that it is necessary to continue researching on this topic with more specific studies.
