Discurso del odio y sus consecuencias en el colectivo LGTBI+

Abstract

Desde hace años, la tendencia creciente del discurso del odio en el mundo que nace en la política se ha trasladado a la sociedad de todos los países del panorama mundial. Actualmente, se observa un crecimiento exponencial de los partidos que defienden aquellas tesis más extremistas en el ámbito social, afectando de pleno a la discriminación y la inquina de parte de la sociedad con los grupos más vulnerables. Este es el caso del colectivo LGTBI+, que siempre ha sido un sector de la población que se ha enfrentado y sigue enfrentándose a situaciones discriminatorias. En este reportaje a modo de podcast, tratamos los motivos que han causado este aumento de los delitos de odio y las agresiones, y analizamos la protección que tienen las personas del colectivo en determinados ámbitos. Un recorrido por el Parlamento Europeo, por las asociaciones LGTBI+, por las aulas de los institutos y universidades o por las discotecas y locales de ocio nocturno de la capital española, dará una visión completa sobre cómo viven las personas LGTBI+ su día a día. Además, permitirá analizar cuáles son los puntos débiles de una sociedad que, no protege a todos sus ciudadanos y ciudadanas en la misma medida.

For years, the growing trend of hate speech in the world that is born in politics has moved to the society of all countries on the world scene. Currently, there is an exponential growth of the parties that defend the most extremist theses in the social sphere, fully affecting discrimination and resentment on the part of society with the most vulnerable groups. This is the case of the LGTBI+ collective, which has always been a sector of the population that has faced and continues to face discriminatory situations. In this podcast-like report, we deal with the reasons that have caused this increase in hate crimes and attacks, and we analyse the protection that members of the group have in certain areas. A tour of the European Parliament, through the LGTBI+ associations, through the classrooms of institutes and universities or through the discos and nightlife venues of the Spanish capital, will give a complete vision of how LGTBI+ people live their day to day. In addition, it will allow analysing the weak points of a society that does not protect all its citizens to the same extent.
