Background and objective: Patients diagnosed with primary psychotic disorder require rehospitalization despite treatment with antipsychotics. The objective of this study is to assess the possible factors associated with a higher number of admissions in patients diagnosed with psychotic disorder and treated with antipsychotics. Methods: Single-center, cross-sectional, retrospective, observational study. Data were extracted from the medical records of the patients who were admitted to the Psychiatry service of the Reina Sofía General University Hospital between March 2020 and February 2021. A statistical analysis of the data was carried out, exploring the possible association between the variables collected and the number of previous admissions in the last 5 years.
