The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the health of the world population at a cognitive, behavioral, affective and physical level, with people with COVID-19 being one of the vulnerable groups. To cope with stressful life situations like this, play a crucial role coping strategies of them, their levels of resilience and emotional state, which are modifiable over time. This preliminary, descriptive and correlational cross-sectional study, explored the coping strategies used in 63 subjects with COVID-19 passed, and analyzed the relationships between their levels of resilience, emotional state (anxiety / depression) and their age. The results showed that the most used strategies are acceptance, active coping, planning, self-distraction, positive reevaluation and emotional support; and the least used are substance use, religion, disconnection and denial. Likewise, it was found that anxiety and depression were negatively correlated with resilience; that the use of adaptive strategies was positively correlated with resilience; and that the use of maladaptive strategies correlated positively with depression and anxiety, and negatively with resilience. On the other hand, it was found that adults had higher levels of resilience than youth; and that young people had higher levels of depression and anxiety than adults.
