Abstract

Este trabajo aborda las migraciones de personas de varios países del mundo hacia España. El autor identifica los problemas y las historias, y los narra de forma que se entienda el contexto en el que vivían antiguamente, las razones de peso que les hicieron viajar, la llegada, el recibimiento y el proceso de adaptación. La migración es un problema social que se ha incrementado en los últimos años. Según la estimación más reciente hecha en un informe de la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos (ACNUDH) en 2020 había en el mundo aproximadamente 281 millones de migrantes internacionales. Por lo tanto, casi el 4 por ciento de la población mundial, reside en la actualidad fuera de sus países de origen. Hecho que se debe a un cúmulo de situaciones y factores que les empujan a huir del lugar donde nacieron. Entre estos está la inseguridad, vulneración de derechos humanos y económicos, incertidumbre, inseguridad laboral y legal, hambrunas, entre otros. En este reportaje se da luz, a través de cuatro historias, a las penurias que viven o vivieron muchos migrantes. Se intenta, con una perspectiva diferente al del resto de trabajos sobre la migración, poner nombre y apellido a esas historias que pasan desapercibidas cuando se tratan temas como este.

This work deals with the migrations of people from various countries of the world to Spain. The author identifies the problems and the stories, and narrates them in such a way as to understand the context in which they formerly lived, the compelling reasons that made them travel, the arrival, the reception and the adaptation process. 3 Migration is a social problem that has increased in recent years. According to the most recent estimate made in a report by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in 2020 there were approximately 281 million international migrants in the world. Almost 4 percent of the world's population currently resides outside their countries of origin. Fact that is due to a host of situations and factors that push them to flee from their homes of origin. Among these is insecurity, violation of human and economic rights, uncertainty, job and legal insecurity, famines, among others. In short, this report gives light, through four stories, to the hardships that many migrants experience. An attempt is made, with a different perspective to that of the rest of the works on migration, to put a name and surname to the stories and real lives of many families, which go unnoticed when topics like this are discussed.
