Resumen :
Antecedentes: El dolor lumbar es uno de los trastornos musculoesqueléticos más comunes. Terapias basadas en el ejercicio activo han demostrado en varios estudios previos aliviar el dolor lumbar y ayudar a la restauración funcional.

Background: Low back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders. Active exercise-based therapies have been shown in several previous studies to alleviate low back pain and to aid in functional restoration.
Objectives: Here, I aimed to evaluate the efficiency between two active exercise techniques: (1) low load motor control exercises (LLMC), and (2) high load lifting exercises (HLL). As specific objectives, I evaluated which technique is most effective, reducing pain and disability in patients with low back pain, in a follow-up of more than six weeks.
Methods: Searches were carried out in PubMed and EMBASE online databases. Moreover, randomized controlled clinical trials were included, and methodological quality was assessed using the Pedro Scale.
Results: A total of fifteen studies were analyzed, where fourteen compared LLMC with other therapies. Of these, 9 had significant differences in the variables, 5 did not have significant differences and 1 found significant differences with the manual therapy technique. Overall, only one study compared HLL with LLMC. So, the comparison was carried out with a study with similar characteristics.
Conclusion: No significant differences were found in the comparison of LLMC with HLL in terms of pain and disability. In contrast, significant differences were found comparing the LLMC with other therapies, during the following-up period.
