Dignity accompanies the person throughout his life, and when the people's health gets worse, the legal system must ensure that it is not undermined, and this includes the process of death, which belongs to the last phase of a person's life. The dignity of the person and the autonomy of the will constitute the basis of all the regional regulations. It analyzes the state regulation of dignified death, its foundations, the patient's rights, such as informed consent, accompaniment, or the possibility of establishing their will at the end of life, aimed at people suffering from terminal illness, and also regulates the duties of the health personnel with respect to the people who are in the process of death. In addition, we study the different regulations that have some states of our environment like Holland or Belgium, which have advanced in this matter.
