Resilience resilience is understood as a person's capacity those who recovery in a short period time, of a stressful event. This capacity is present in every areas of psychology, even the sport and it’s given in a collective way. On the other hand, it’s known that the leaders are able to lead their teams to a better new goals, as well as build new behaviors. The objective of this work is analyse the relationship between the collective resilience and the formal leadership in the sports teams. For that, 92 athletes belonging to a differents sports, the most of them players of football and basketball, take part of the study. This athletes answered a questionnarie where are asked for the leadership of their coach (formal leader), the resiliencie that they perceived like a group and their groups succes (winning percentage in all the season). The results shows the positive connection between the democratic leadership and the collective resilience, and how the both are associated to the sports success (winning percentage).
