Abstract:
It was carried out a population monitoring and identification of leafhoppers that affect the organic sweetpepper cultivation in greenhouse in the Campo de Cartagena, specifically in 2 chapel-type greenhouses located in the border area between the municipal districts of San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia) and Pilar de la Horadada (Alicante). In both greenhouses, there has been an increase in both larvae and adults since the first half of June, and if they continued with the samplings they would surely have continued to increase. In both greenhouses, there has been an increase in both larvae and adults since the first half of June, and if they continued with the samplings, they would surely continue to increase. Samples have been taken and identified in the laboratory, and it has been determined that the males belong to the Empoasca decipiens species and the females belong to the Empoascini tribe.
