Patients with neurological disease can take advantage of multidisciplinary work and improve his/her quality of life. Among the former (existing) neurological pathologies, the 4 most commonly found in Spain have been selected: Ictus, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis. The Guides of Clinical Practice (GCP) are an easy tool for professionals to use as well as other people, and that is why we try to evaluate whether they can be recommended by the AGREE protocol and by reviewing the importance given to the role of the therapist. Methodology: An investigation was launched to decide GCP within the most frequent neurologic pathologies, relevance of the occupational therapist in the selected guides, and after that the quality of the selected guides through the AGREE protocol. Results: Eight guides in total have been reviewed. To consider whether or not the guide was recommended or not, level of achievement of 60% was established as the cut point acceptable for each domain. Domains that scored lower were: People Involved Participation, Editorial Independence, and Scope and Objectives. The therapist's role in the selected guides was analyzed, and in 6 of the guides the therapist’s role was as significant as the other professionals. Conclusion: The GCPs must be better known, so for this reason there should be free access to each of the guides, as well as free access to more portals as Guia Salud that provide more reliability to the content and meet actualization data, and not cause variability in clinical practices. On the other hand, after reviewing the guide, the therapist’s role has been significant.
