Algaria 0 (1982-1986): Historia de una revista de poesía

Abstract

El trabajo que tiene entre sus manos es un estudio sobre la influencia e historia de la revista Algaria 0 en el panorama literario nacional e internacional. En él se realiza un análisis que tiene como objetivo plasmar cuál fue su trayectoria y la importancia que tuvo esta revista de poesía. Se pretende, por tanto, crear una conciencia sobre lo que fue esta revista y entender lo que pudo haber sido si la financiación hubiese sido la adecuada. De esta manera, se profundiza sobre las relaciones que tuvo Algaria 0 con las diferentes instituciones que no llegaron a apoyarla económicamente. El trabajo está estructurado de forma cronológica para comprender mejor cómo se decidió formar una revista de este tipo y por qué. En este recorrido se analiza desde el grupo que la creó, hasta su última publicación y la cancelación de la misma. Además, durante todo el estudio se encuentran tablas y datos sobre las personas que decidieron escribir para la revista y, al mismo tiempo, también se muestra información relevante sobre el diseño de cada número que se publicó. Asimismo, se expone de manera detallada cuál era la forma y la mentalidad poética que se utilizaba en Algaria 0, explicándose por qué era diferente al resto de revistas que se presentaron y publicaron en Alicante en los años 80. También, se hace hincapié en la distribución de cada número por todo el territorio alicantino y en el resto de España, y de cómo los propios autores difundían la poesía por los diferentes institutos y bibliotecas de la provincia alicantina. Por otra parte, se nombran los periódicos y revistas nacionales y provincianas que destinaron varios de sus artículos a la mención de Algaria 0, tanto por sus reconocimientos como por su trayectoria. Finalmente, se detalla la cancelación de la revista y sus razones. Al final del trabajo y como complementación se encuentran anexos para un mejor entendimiento global de este estudio y las conclusiones que se sacan del mismo.

The academic paper that you have at hand is a study about the influence and history of the magazine Algaria 0 within the national and international literary landscape. The study embraces an analysis which aims to embody the path and the importance that this poetry magazine had. The intention is, therefore, to create a conscience about what this magazine was and the understanding of what it would have been if the financing had been adequate. In this way, the relations that Algaria 0 had with various institutions that did not provide it economical support are deepened. This academic work is structured in a chronological way in order to gain a better understanding of how it was decided to form such a magazine and why. In this journey various aspects are analyzed: from the group that created it until its last publication and its cancellation. Furthermore, during the whole study graphics and data about the people who decided to write for the magazine can be found. At the same, relevant information about the design of each publication number is shown. Likewise, it is exposed which was the form and political approach that was used in Algaria 0 in a detailed way, being explained why this magazine was different from the rest that were presented and published in Alicante during the eighties. Also, it was emphasized the distribution of each publication among the territory of Alicante and the rest of Spain and how the main authors spread the poetry in high schools and libraries of the province of Alicante. On the other hand, newspapers and national magazines that assigned various articles to mention Algaria 0 are named because of its recognition and its trajectory. Finally, the cancelation of the magazine and its reasons are detailed. At the end of the academic paper and as a complementation, annexes to a better general understanding of this study and the conclusions can be found.
