Abstract:
Tras las elecciones municipales del año 2015 y unos procesos de negociación política, la localidad de Elche obtuvo como resultado que estaría gobernado por tres partidos en conjunto: PSPV-PSOE, Compromís e Ilicitanos por Elche obtenían 14 de los 27 concejales del pleno y con ello firmaban una coalición en el poder.
Tras poco más de medio año desde su instauración, los dos concejales de Ilicitanos por Elche abandonaron el gobierno y su lugar lo ocupó el único concejal obtenido por el Partido de Elche, Manuel Ruíz, pasando así a un gobierno en minoría de 13 concejales.
Con este trabajo, se pretende analizar desde un punto de vista político-social la viabilidad de un gobierno en minoría y pactado a posteriori de las elecciones, hasta los próximos comicios municipales, previstos para el año 2019. Para ello, resultará clave el estudio de los antecedentes, las entrevistas con personalidades relevantes de cada partido y la consulta a una muestra representativa de la población ilicitana.
After the municipal elections of 2015 and the negotiation's process, the city of Elche is being governed by three political parties: PSPV-PSOE, Compromís and Ilicitanos por Elche. They obtained 14 of the 27 parliamentary councilors and signed a coalition.
The tow councilors of Ilicitanos por Elche left the government a year and a half after its creation, and this places is being occupied by the only alderman obtained by Partido de Elche¸ Manuel Ruíz, what leads to a minority government with 13 councilors.
This task is aimed to analyze, from a social-political point of view, the viability of this minority government, and its future survival until the next municipal elections, scheduled for the year of 2019. That's why it will be important to study the antecedents, to analyze the interviews with the most relevant personalities of each political party and to consult a representative sample of the ilicitan population what they think about this issue.
