The flying phobia consists in a fear or anxiety product of the exposure directly or indirectly to a stimuli related with the situation of flying. The present research aims to show the procedure carried out and the evolution during the treatment, of the symptoms suffered by a young man of 25 years old with this type of phobia. The treatment was composed of 8 sessions which lasted 45 minutes each, with the exception of the first one that took a full hour. The main goal of the treatment was to remove the behavior-problem that generates avoidance or escape behaviors as well as eliminate physiological symptoms that produce this situations or phobic stimuli. During the treatment, different cohort cognitive-behavior technics where used, such as systematic desensitization, Ellis based cognitive restructuration, “in vivo” exposure with images and relaxation training. The treatment outcome is positive due to the fulfilled goal of the therapy.
