Análisis de la relación del deseo sexual con el estado emocional, la asertividad sexual y las habilidades sociales

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es identificar si existe relación entre el deseo sexual y las variables psicológicas: ansiedad, depresión, habilidades sociales y asertividad sexual, con el fin de proponer un perfil de factores relacionados con el deseo sexual hipoactivo, tanto femenino como masculino. Para ello se han utilizado una muestra formada por 116 participantes (36 hombres y 80 mujeres) los cuales han cumplimentado una serie de cuestionarios que evalúan todas las variables estudiadas. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan diferencias significativas entre hombres y mujeres con respecto al nivel de deseo sexual. Por otro lado, se ha concluido que son los participantes con menor deseo sexual los que tienen más problemas en asertividad sexual y disponen de menos habilidades sociales, en cambio son estos participantes los que más sintomatología ansioso-depresiva presentan. Los resultados del análisis de regresión del modelo, han revelado que éste está compuesto por las variables predictoras: depresión y asertividad sexual, las cuales explican un 42% de la variabilidad del deseo sexual hipoactivo.

The aim of this study is to identify whether there is a relationship between sexual desire and psychological variables: anxiety, depression, social skills and sexual assertiveness in order to propose a profile of factors related to both female and male hypoactive sexual desire. This has been used a sample of 116 participants (36 men and 80 women) who have completed a series of questionnaires that assess all the variables studied. The results show significant differences between men and women regarding the level of sexual desire. On the other hand, it has been concluded that participants are less sexual desire which have more problems in sexual assertiveness and have fewer social skills, however these participants are the most anxious-depressive symptoms present. The results of the regression analysis model, has revealed that it is composed of the predictor variables: depression and sexual assertiveness, which account for 42% of the variability of hypoactive sexual desire.
