| es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this systematic review is to analyze parental motivations and the consequences for childhood associated with the phenomenon of sharenting, especially those related to privacy, digital identity, and the child’s well-being. To this end, a systematic review was conducted following the guidelines of the PRISMA 2020 statement. The search was carried out in three databases: Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed. After screening the initial 68 articles, 16 articles were finally selected that met the established inclusion criteria: peer-reviewed scientific publications, written in English or Spanish, directly focused on the phenomenon of sharenting on social media, and aimed at analyzing parental motivations, attitudes, perceptions, or practices, as well as their possible consequences for childhood. The results show that the phenomenon of sharenting responds to parental motivations such as social connection, identity expression, and even commercial interests. In addition, risks for childhood were identified, such as loss of privacy, overexposure of the child, and the construction of digital identity without consent. The evidence on how sharenting may affect the emotional well-being of the child is still heterogeneous. Therefore, this phenomenon requires a psychological, social, and preventive approach, highlighting the importance of promoting responsible use of social media within the family context and protecting children’s privacy and digital rights. | es_ES |
