Extranjería y la Agenda 2030: Cuestiones jurídicas en materia de migración y desarrollo sostenible

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación analiza las cuestiones jurídicas asociadas a la migración desde la perspectiva de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible, examinando si las políticas migratorias españolas y europeas se alinean efectivamente con los compromisos derivados de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). La investigación adopta un enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo con análisis interpretativo, mediante revisión sistemática de instrumentos normativos, literales jurídica especializadas e informes de organismos internacionales. Se examina el fenómeno migratorio en contextos de España y la Unión Europea, la estructura de gobernanza migratoria, y la compleja arquitectura de instrumentos jurídicos—tanto Hard Law como Soft Law—que regulan la migración internacional.

This research work analyzes legal matters associated with migration from the perspective of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, examining whether Spanish and European migration policies effectively align with commitments derived from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research adopts a qualitative and descriptive approach with interpretative analysis, through systematic review of normative instruments, specialized legal literature, and reports from international organizations. It examines the migration phenomenon in contexts of Spain and the European Union, the structure of migration governance, and the complex architecture of legal instruments—both Hard Law and Soft Law—that regulate international migration.
