Mujeres de la limpieza y ocupacionismo. una mirada desde el posthumanismo

Abstract

Este artículo se centra en la realidad del colectivo del personal de limpieza, mayoritariamente mujeres. Una cuestión obligada al tratar esta temática desde una perspectiva posthumanista es la minusvaloración social hacia el trabajo de limpiadora. El posthumanismo otorga importancia a las diferentes maneras de cómo los humanos somos continuamente producidos mediante fuerzas materiales, regímenes discursivos y agencias no humanas, y se preocupa por aquellas disparidades que existen entre la imagen abstracta de ser humano del humanismo y las diferentes actualizaciones de éste en la vida real, disparidades que se reflejan en discriminaciones sociales. Así, el posthumanismo se interesa por las problemáticas propias del sexismo, el racismo, el edadismo, el capacitismo, así como también del ocupacionismo, patología social consistente en menospreciar o sobrevalorar a un individuo por el trabajo que efectúa

This article focuses on the reality of cleaning workers, mostly women. A necessary issue when dealing with this subject from a posthumanist perspective is the social undervaluation of the work of cleaners. Posthumanism attaches importance to the different ways in which humans are continually produced, through material forces, discursive regimes and nonhuman agencies. Posthumanism is concerned with those disparities that exist between humanism's abstract image of the human being and the different actualizations of this in real life, disparities that are reflected in social discriminations. In this way, posthumanism is concerned with the problems of sexism, racism, ageism, ableism or occupationism, a social pathology, which lies in the fact of undervaluing or overvaluing an individual for the work he or she performs
