This final degree project focused on the study of Muchamiel and De la Pera tomato breeding line, with genetic resistance to viruses under conventional and saline conditions. The agronomic characteristics (production and average weight) and quality (soluble solids content and acidity) were evaluated. For the De la Pera tomato, the highest production has been obtained in saline conditions and for the Muchamiel tomato in conventional conditions. It has been determined that the TYLCV gene negatively affects both the production and the average weight of the fruits. Acidity is the only quality trait in which a genotype effect has been found, since lines with resistance to TYLCV reached a lower acidity value.
