In a constantly changing world, education faces the need for a profound rethinking
of its traditional paradigms.” Un error molón” presents itself as an innovative project
that explores the transformative power of mistakes in the learning process, through an
artistic and contemporary approach. This work, resulting from theoretical-practical
research, emphasizes the importance of accepting errors as crucial components in
education, fostering not only creative skills but also a greater commitment to one's own
educational process.
Through its activities, the notebook invites both students and teachers to reflect on
their practice, proposing plastic and visual education as a creative laboratory. In this
environment, each mistake is not a failure, but an opportunity to learn, explore, and
experiment. Throughout the research, strategies are revealed for educators to use contemporary art and feminism as powerful tools in the classroom, promoting an
atmosphere where imagination and self-assessment are fundamental to personal and
collective growth.
The project includes a detailed action plan that describes the process of creating
the notebook from initial research to its implementation in a special education school.
Each phase is carefully designed to ensure effective collaboration among a
multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists and designers. The proposed activities
are flexible and adaptable, allowing students to jump between exercises and personalize
their learning experience, removing the pressure of perfection.
“An Awesome Mistake” also feels that students should be freed from prejudices
that hinder their artistic expression. By fostering continuous practice and personal
exploration, the notebook helps students discover new ways of thinking and generate
creative solutions to challenges in their everyday lives. The philosophy of the notebook is
simple yet powerful: ¡Long live the awesome mistake!
