The objective of this Master's Thesis (TFM) is to develop a model for the
implementation of a Classroom Media Lab in educational centers. This model
proposes transferring the philosophy and practices developed in the Media Labs to a
smaller scale: the secondary classroom. To achieve this, the aim is to integrate
information and communication technologies (ICT) into the educational environment,
creating innovative and collaborative learning spaces that encourage the
development of digital skills and critical thinking in students.
For this purpose, some existing Media Labs are previously analyzed to understand
their operation, investigating their characteristics and the key elements that have
turned them into success stories. Through a literature review and other means, we
will understand the strategies and practices used in these environments.
As a result, a structured guide has been developed for the implementation of a
Classroom Media Lab in educational centers. This guide, presented in table format,
ensures that each stage of the process is meticulously planned and executed, from
the initial evaluation of available spaces and resources to the integration of
innovative educational methodologies. By following this guide, centers can maximize
the positive impact of the Aula Media Lab on student learning, fostering a more
dynamic and technologically advanced educational environment.
