The existence of festivals is an increasingly trending reality, and the rise of electronic
music is the result of years of evolution. Throughout the 20th century, there were
many technological advances in all areas. The topic of music production
modernized, giving rise to a more digital music scene, where gradually a new genre
called techno emerged. As the name suggests, it's technological music created with
synthesizers, emphasizing rhythms and sounds.
In this podcast, consisting of three episodes, we delve into this topic in a format that
is on the rise and easy to consume. The importance lies in the audio and its
transmedia capacity, which allows its existence on different platforms, thus
increasing its accessibility.
This podcast is also reinforced with interview videos, graphics, and archival
audiovisual and musical pieces, allowing the viewer to have a more complete experience and better follow the narrative. It tells a story through three recognized
characters associated with this genre, navigating through the entire 20th century and
addressing important topics such as social revolutions, which were accompanied by
this music, and philosophy, which as a consequence, this industry preserves.
An immersion into both essential and historical issues about the beginnings and key
historical moments of electronic music.
